Highlights

Thrust Factor

Relevant skills:
  • General systems design
  • Prototyping enemy behaviour
  • Designing a fluid combat system
  • Balancing the game loop
  • Polishing & game feel
  • FMOD Integration, music, sound design

Virtual Encounters
Godot Krita GitHub
A narrative experience about three very different experimental games, each questioning a unique aspect of play itself. Turning this into a coherrent whole was certainly a fun challenge.
Relevant skills:
  • Combining three experimental games into one coherrent narrative experience
  • Concepting and prototyping
  • Designing four 3D environments viewed from a first person perspective
  • Usability testing and general playtesting
  • Development and prototyping in Godot
De Rechtlijn
Android Unity Krita
A satirical game played entirely on a phone dial interface. My goal was to design a socially conscious, meaningful experience about the rise of AI and the loss of interpersonnal contact.
Relevant skills:
  • Designing a maze-like narrative
  • Translating the narrative to game mechanics
  • Designing an interactive call menu
  • Sound design
  • Development in Unity for Android
